Looking to add a little love to your life? This Saturday, October 4, Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island will transform its ballroom into a feline paradise for Paws for a Cause, a heartwarming cat adoption event, in collaboration with microchipped.ae, Ma’an, and volunteers.ae, the hotel will welcome 60 adorable cats ready to find their forever homes.
The event is open to the entire community, including families and animal lovers, and will run from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the adoption process in a relaxed environment, enjoy light refreshments, and meet the cats in person, experienced volunteers will also be on hand to answer questions and offer guidance on responsible pet care.
All participating cats will undergo a full health check and be fully vaccinated prior to adoption by microchipped.ae. Additionally, a medical team from Pet Pavilion Veterinary Clinic will be present to ensure the animals’ well-being and address any health-related questions, this initiative is part of the UAE’s Year of Community 2025, highlighting compassion, shared responsibility, and the spirit of collaboration between government, private organizations, and the public.
